Staffing

All our clients are provided with 24 hour care by well-trained care staff, Unit Managers and qualified Nurses. We consider our staff to be sensitive, dedicated, presenting a positive, courteous and helpful attitude at all times.

Two Acres Care Home employs just over 100 staff and is able to attract and retain a high calibre of staff. The company employs registered nurses, with a wide range of skill mix. They are supported by around 65 Care Staff who receive specialised training in the areas they work in. We aim to maintain a resident / staff ratio that meets the care needs of our residents. We also look after several clients on a one to one basis, as and when required and based on clinical assessment and presentation.

Two Acres takes great pride in training and development of all the staff. We employ a full time training co-coordinator who is responsible for all the staff training. All staff are obliged to attend regular training updates and are encouraged to undertake Vocational Qualifications leading to Diploma in Health & Social Care.

Care Staff are fully supported by other staff comprising of administrative, catering, domestic, laundry and maintenance staff. All are expected to undergo regular training in not only their sphere of work but also in Dementia awareness.
